“我国近海有害赤潮发生的生态学、海洋学机制及预测防治”研究进展

摘要

The background and contents of the national project in Basic Research Priorities Program,Ecology and Oceanography of Harmful Algal Blooms in China(2001CB4097,2002.04-2007.04) were introduced in this paper.The project focused on the East China Sea area,which is the major area of large scale algal blooms along Chinese coast,and studied:(1) the biological characteristics and ecological adaptive strategies of the representative HAB species;(2) the relationship between eutrophication and harmful algal blooms;(3) the key physical processes related to the dynamics of the blooms and the techniques on bloom simulation and prediction;and(4) the impacts of harmful algal blooms and the principles on bloom control and mitigation.The progresses of the project on bloom dynamics of the representative HAB species and the mechanism of bloom regulation made through the analysis of the hydrological,chemical and biological data acquired during the field investigations on the large scale red tides in East China sea area from the 2002 to 2005,combined with the simulation studies in the laboratories,were reported.The prospects of the studies in this project were also discussed.
