SIZE EFFECT AND LOADING RATE DEPENDENCE OF THE PRESSURE-SENSITIVITY OF CARBON FIBER REINFORCED CONCRETE(CFRC)
摘要
Carbon fiber reinforced concrete(CFRC) was found to be an intrinsically smart material. An experimental study is presented to examine the influence of size effect and loading rate on the pressure-sensitivity of CFRC during the elastic regime. The results show that the sensitivity increases with the size of specimen increasing and loading rate makes no influence on it. The former is because the deformation of higher specimen is larger than lower one under the same compressive stress. The behind is because the deformation of specimen is the same under the same compressive stress although the loading rate is different. Therefore, the smart beharvior of CFRC also reflects the deformation of material under compressive stress.
