A Convenient Method of Polyfluoroalkyl—lactonization

摘要

A novel synthesis of polyfluoroalkyl substituted γ-butyrolactones from the reaction of polyfluoroalkyl iodides with 4-pentenoic acid initiated with sodium dithionite was realized in good yields.
