Comparison of TIG welding performance of 4J36 wire and CF36 wire

摘要

In this study,4J36 sheets were welded by tungsten inert gas(TIG)welding using 4J36 wire and CF36 wire respectively under the same conditions,and the expansion properties,tensile performances and impact properties of the welded joints were measured.These results showed that the expansion properties and impact properties were similar for both wires,but the tensile performance of the CF36 wire welded joint was better than that of the 4J36 wire welded joint.Metallographic observations showed that the microstructures were similar in each heat-affected zone,but different in each welded seam attributed to the compositional differences of the wires.更多还原
