), In dynamic terms, with different types of vegetation responding to climatic conditions with different relationships and degrees, except for alpine vegetation and thickets, vegetation in the watershed responded better to precipitation than to air temperature and radiation. Air temperature and precipitation were the main driving factors for changes in vegetation NPP in the watershed. The response mechanisms of different geomorphic zones to climate were very different, with the overall zoning pattern of "four screens, three zones, and one highland." The results of this study provide a reference basis for understanding the ecological and environmental change mechanisms in the upper Yellow River Basin.
