摘要

The spatiotemporal evolution of carbon storage and its topographic gradient effect were studied, and Lanzhou City was taken as the study area to provide a theoretical basis for improving the quality of the ecological environment and maintaining the ecological security barrier in the study area in the future. Based on the land use data of 1980, 1990, 2000, 2010, and 2020, the spatial and temporal changes of carbon storage in the study area were analyzed by using the InVEST model, and the topographic gradient effects and driving factors of carbon storage in Lanzhou were comprehensively analyzed by using topographic position index, Geodetector, and spatial data analysis methods. The results showed that: ① From 1980-2020, the cultivated land and grassland in Lanzhou decreased year by year, and the increase in construction land and unused land area led to a downward trend in carbon storage, and the spatial distribution of carbon storage showed a pattern of "high in the northwest, low in the north, and middle low in the southeast." ② From 1980-2020, the carbon storage in Lanzhou increased with the increase in topographic gradient, which had a significant topographic gradient effect. The distribution index of very low and medium carbon storage quality was higher in the first gradient, and the higher carbon storage quality had an obvious advantage in the fifth gradient. ③ Topographic location index, slope, GDP, and population density were the main driving factors for the spatial pattern differentiation of carbon stocks, and the interaction between topographic location index and population density, GDP, NDVI, and nighttime light intensity was significant. The results of this study provide a reference for urban ecological protection and high-quality development in the middle and upper reaches of the Yellow River and provide theoretical support for promoting the sustainable ecological development of river valley cities.
