[Research progress on chemical constituents, pharmacological effects, and prescription application of Zingiberis Rhizoma Recens and Zingiberis Rhizoma and prediction of their quality markers].
摘要
Zingiberis Rhizoma Recens and Zingiberis Rhizoma are the fresh and dried rhizomes, respectively, of Zingiber officinale, a plant of the Zingiberaceae family. Both are traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) with medicinal and dietary applications and are essential drugs for dispelling cold in clinical practice. They are commonly used as assistant and guide drugs in classical TCM formulas. Modern research has shown that Zingiberis Rhizoma Recens and Zingiberis Rhizoma contain various chemical constituents, including volatile oils, gingerols, diphenylheptanes, flavonoids, amino acids, sugars, and organic acids. These components exhibit pharmacological activities including anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects, antiemetic properties, antibacterial activity, antioxidant effects, immune regulation, and improvement of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular functions, and are widely applied in the fields of medicine, healthcare, and food. This paper reviews the historical origins and traditional uses, chemical constituents, pharmacological effects, and differences in prescription applications of Zingiberis Rhizoma Recens and Zingiberis Rhizoma. It also conducts a predictive analysis of their quality markers(Q-markers) from multiple aspects, including the uniqueness of chemical constituents, the correlation between traditional properties and pharmacological effects, the measurability of chemical constituents, and the association with synergistic components, aiming to provide a reference for the quality control and evaluation standards of Zingiberis Rhizoma Recens and Zingiberis Rhizoma.
