摘要

Copper and its alloys are widely used in various fields (e.g.,shipbuilding,electric power) due to their excellent electrical conductivity, thermal conductivity and ductility. However, under special environments (such as low temperature, high salinity, etc.),copper alloys may experience corrosion, frost formation and fouling, which reduce their service life and limit their range of applications. The superhydrophobic modification of copper and its alloy surfaces can effectively improve their surface energy, composition and micro-morphology,thereby enhancing the service performance of copper-based metals. In this study,a brief overview of the fundamental theory of superhydrophobic surface wettability was provided, along with an introduction to recent preparation methods for copper alloys, such as etching, electrodeposition and oxidation, followed by a detailed discussion of their advantages and limitations. Then, the research status of superhydrophobic surfaces on copper alloys in application areas such as anti-fouling,corrosion resistance,oil-water separation, and self-cleaning was reviewed, and the challenges and future directions for the development of superhydrophobic surfaces on copper alloys were prospected.Overall, achieving high durability, multifunctionality of copper alloy superhydrophobic surfaces and innovation in preparation technologies is of great significance for promoting their development and application.
