Design of Insulator Image Segmentation Algorithm Based on Local Mean
摘要
In order to monitor the operating condition of insulators,an improved binarization method is proposed to make segmentation of the insulator image.Local mean of each pixel is applied as a reference threshold to make the first segmentation,and the initial object points,background points and the approximate edge contour are gotten.For each pixel,the algorithm judges its quality through its local properties,and does the second segmentation to get the better result.Experimental results show that compared with the OTSU algorithm and Wellner algorithm,the proposed algorithm can segment insulator images with intensity inhomogeneity correctly,and is more efficient and robust.
