摘要
在我国的城市建设过程中，很多历史文化名城都经历着大规模的城市更新和改造，其中旧城改造和历史文化保护之间形成了一对显要矛盾，所以城市的历史文化保护已经成为城市更新中的关键课题。本文以西安城市更新的大背景为研究基础，结合西安火车站及周边地区更新改造的项目实践，分析阐述以历史文化遗产保护与利用为目标的城市设计相关方法。
