抛物型时间周期问题的Schwarz 波形松驰方法

摘要

For a class of time-periodic problems of steady-state systems, to numerically compute their transient solutions in parallel is interesting and necessary since their computational complexity is far larger than that of initial-value problems. Some new parallel methods for computing time-periodic solutions for parabolic equations are presented in the paper, that is, waveform relaxation methods based on domain decomposition or Schwarz methods. This kind of methods only needs to solve low-dimensional time-periodic problems on sub-domains. Convergence of two methods reported here based on different transmission conditions are analyzed in theory and verified by numerical experiments.
