Runt Disease--I
摘要
Runt disease is an entity restricted to laboratory animals, and though it has no known counterpart in clinical medicine it promises to contribute to the better understanding of a variety of problems in man. The condition arises when immunologically competent cells are injected into a homologous host which for one reason or another is unable to reject them. ( The term " homologous " in this context refers to an animal of the same species as the donor, but of different genetic constitution.)
