摘要

Electro-acupuncture for 30 min in rats caused a significant elevation of OLS activity in the brain and a moderate lowering of its activity in the pituitary gland. The extent of brain OLS activity has been found to be positively correlated with the effect of acu- puncture analgesia (AA), implying its important role in AA. The physiological bearing of the reduced pituitary OLS activity in AA has also been discussed.
