Ultra-Subharmonic Vibration in Piecewise-Linear System
摘要
For many years we have been studying ultraharmonic resonance phenomena in various piecewise-linear systems with analog computer, and on several occasions have found some unexpected anomalies on their resonance curves, especially when the nonlinearity of the treated system becomes large. Our conjecture that these anomalies are caused by the occurence of ultra-subharmonic resonance was confirmed by the almost exact coincidence of the numerical results calculated by digital computer utilizing our perfect Fourier series solution with those from analog computer.
