SIMULATION AND OPTIMIZATION OF LNG SHIPPING SYSTEMS
摘要
Computer simulation of system operation can be successfully used to forecast and predict performance. In this way, optimization can proceed rapidly and efficiently. The model discussed includes effects of weather and port operations as well as availability of loading, unloading, maintenance, and storage facilities. Simulated operations are then evaluated to yield unit cost-of-transport and to permit definition of an optimum transport.
