摘要

Extramammary Paget’s disease (EMPD) is a rare intraepithelial adenocarcinoma which usually occurs at the vulva, perianal region, perineum, prepuce, and scrotum, especially around the male external genital area; to date no more than 100 cases have been reported world wide We report on a 60-year-old male patient that had suffered from intractable eczema-like skin lesions over the external genital area for 2 years and had received repeated topical steroidal prescriptions. EMPD was diagnosed by skin biopsy, and reconstructive surgery was performed using a medial thigh skin graft wide excision of the lesion. The skin grafts healed well, and there was no recurrent lesion detected after follow-up for 1 year. To diagnose such an easily overlooked epidermal malignancy, early biopsy for suspicious chronic lesions is highly recommended.
