摘要

The infrared multispectral camera (IRS) of HJ-1B is subject to several influences that cause perfor- mance degradation while in orbit. Absolute radiometric calibration can effectively adjust the measured radiometric accuracy of the sensor, improving the radiometric performance of remote sensing data. Based on the characteris- tics of the IRS on-board calibration system, this paper uses data recorded from a test site in August 2010 to carry out a radiometric calibration of the IRS thermal infrared channel, verify the calibration coefficients and correct their accuracy. The results show that absolute calibration can avoid the limitations of the on-board calibration system and that the calibration coefficients of IRS are accurate and reliable enough to meet the requirements of quantitative applications.
