Solid Pseudopapillary Tumor of the Pancreas: A Case Report

摘要

Solid pseudopapillary tumor of the pancreas is a rare low-grade malignant tumor occurring chiefly in young women. It is often diagnosed incidentally or during investigations of gastrointestinal complaints. The tumors have an excellent prognosis and after complete surgical removal, more than 95% patients are cured. We present a young female patient with progressive abdominal discomfort for six months and discuss the imaging appearance, differential diagnosis and curative treatment.
