ESTIMATE TO MUTATION RATES

摘要

The mathematical methods for estimationg the mutation rates of microbes at the level ofpopulations are given in this paper, which are concerned with the estimation of the mixtureof two normal distributions. Using the feed forward of livingthing's prior information,the precision of the estimates may be increased and the calculation may be reduced. Finally,an approximate method about the small sample is given in this paper.
