SOME ISSUES ON URBAN CENSUS GIS DESIGNING

摘要

This paper first briefly looks back on the history of census GIS aroun d the world,and then summarizes some preponderances of developing urban census GIS in China.And then a three-tier construction architecture for the urban censu s GIS is proposed.Finally,using the illustration of the census data of Guangz hou city,the paper analyzes and elaborates some issues on the urban census GIS d esigning,such as data management,data warehouse building,and data analysis.
