Effect of Yanggyuksanhwa-Tang on Non-Insulin-Dependent Diabetes Mellitus Unresponsive to Oral Hypoglycemic Agents： A Case Report
摘要
Diabetes mellitus is the fourth leading cause of death worldwide,following cancer,cerebrovascular disease,and heart disease.It is triggered by hyperglycemia and other metabolic disorders.（1,2）Diabetes is a complex endocrine disease that causes chronic vascular complications such as diabetic nephropathy,retinopathy,and polyneuropathy.（3）In diabetes treatment,adequate blood sugar control is of vital importance to prevent the above complications,as confirmed by the Kumamoto Study（4）or a 10-year United Kingdom Prospective Diabetes Study（UKPDS）.（5-7）Blood sugar control is generally achieved by administration of oral hypoglycemic
