Redundancy analysis (RDA) showed that mercury methylation was affected by several factors:organic substances such as propionic acid, isobutyric acid, isovaleric acid, and Fe may promote mercury methylation, whereas protein and higher pH may be inhibitors of mercury methylation in AD of sludge.
