Once-daily Oral Morphine Controlled-Release Capsule（Pacif）
摘要
Takeda Pharmaceutical Company Ltd. launched multiple unit type, once-daily oral morphine controlled-release capsules, Pacif, April 12, 2006. Pacif, a capsule filled with fast-release granules, and slow-release granules coated with swelling polymer (cross-linked polyacrylic acid polymer) incorporation layer (SPILA) system, in the ratio of 2:8. Pacif gives the morphine plasma profile, with 1st peak at 0.9h and 2nd peak at 8.4h whose height are almost the same, and with long elimination t1/2. As a result, analgesic effect of Pacif starts quickly and lasts for all day long (more than 24 hours). In addition, Pacif is a small-sized capsule, #5, #4 or #2 (30mg, 60mg or 120mg) for easy taking.
