摘要

Open access databases have been proved as a great aid to the research in many scientific areas. In this article, we review the main-stream open access databases at each major stage in the drug discovery pipeline. In particular, we describe the PDBbind-CN database developed by our group. It is a database linking the three-dimensional structures and experimental binding data of biomolecular complexes, which has been applied by researchers worldwide in various molecular modeling or bioinformatics/cheminformatics studies.
