华北地区大气降尘和地表土壤磁学特征及污染来源

摘要

Magnetic properties of atmospheric particulate matter and near surface soil under different environmental background (Inner Mongolia, Hebei Province and Beijing) were measured, and compared with the results of geochemical analyses in order to investigate the spatial- temporal patterns of urban pollution. Thermomagnetic data indicated that the major magnetic phase was magnetite-like material. In particular, the highest magnetic and heavy metal concentrations were observed in Hebei areas. The distribution of magnetic minerals and heavy metals indicated that the anthropogenic contribution make marked different influences to dust during its transportation from Inner Mongolia to Beijing. Tracing the dust has been done with HYSPLIT model of the US Air Resources Laboratory. The dust source region consists of deserts, including the Gobi in northern China and southern Mongolia. On the basis of the magnetic analysis and backward air mass trajectory analysis, the emissions of the city layout in Hebei Province may be the source region of pollutants for North China.
