Random-Dot Stereogram Anaglyph Generated with IBM PC/AT and EGA Monitor

摘要

One algorithm to generate random-dot stereogram (RDS) was previously designed on Apple-Ⅱ microcomputer. We shifted this algorithm onto IBM PC/AT and EGA color monitor to make anaglyphical RDS. Preparatively, we wrote 3 minor programs: (1) 'RNDGEN' to generate random dot pattern of any density, (2) 'FIGGEN' to generate any geometric figure and (3) 'MOUSE' to draw cartoon figure. The main program 'MOVE' was friendly to the user. It could generate anaglyphical RDS automatically in a macro process, interface with VEP machine to record dichoptic VEP, show cinematograms and so on.
