Numerical simulation of vapor cloud explosion in LNG receiving terminal
摘要
Numerical model of LNG receiving terminal was established by CFD software FLACS,vapor cloud explosion under the LNG tank was simulated.The flame shape,temperature distribution and overpressure distribution were obtained under the conditions of igniting at center or side of the vapor cloud.The more stoppage,bad ventilation and long flame propagation lead to the maximum overpressure under normal condition.The biggest overpressure happens at the farthest location from the ignition spot inside the vapor cloud.The maximum overpressure and its influence factors of vapor cloud explosion were found to provide theoretical basis for risk assessment and receiving terminal layout.
