A New Method for Calculating Priorities in AHP
摘要
On the basis of weight matrix, this paper presents a new optimizing approach to calculate priorities in the analytic hierarchy process(AHP), this method is a development of the synthetichierarchy method, which was proposed by Lipovetsky in [2], it enables the united consideration of allhorizontal and vertical connections of a hierarchical system in a single optimizing objective functionbased on statistical models of the synthesis process. The ultimate priority vector is proportional tothe solution of a linear system or an eigenproblem of a matrix. A numerical example is also given.Theoretical analyses and the numerical example all show that the method is more practical and needsless time for obtaining priorities than that of IZ].
