Introductory remarks on mercury pollution in China
摘要
China is rich in mercury resources. Mercury and its compounds are quite widely used in China causing pollution in aquatic sediment/soil and atmospheric environment. The general status of mercury pollution in China is briefed. Research achievement on some aquatic ecosystems are reported and some pollution problems need to be urgently studied are suggested.
