TWO CLASSES OF MARTINGALE SPACES

In this paper, we have shown that the spaces of martingales _αK_φ and _αL_φ, which are φ-extensions of the spaces defined by Garsia and Hcrz, respectively, are both identical to ~αL~φ (a type of the Orlicz space), where Oα∞e and φ is convex and satisfies, for example, In addition, we have proved that for more general φ (not necessarily convex but of moderate growth), with , a version of Fefferman-Stein's sharp function in martingale setting. For 0α1, the same inequality with the modified definition of f_(?)~# holds too.
