Drying and Conversion of Large-scale LNG Cryogenic Tank
摘要
The purpose of drying and conversion of LNG cryogenic tank is reduce the dew point and oxygen content in the tank to prevent the explosion caused by mixture of incoming LNG and air. The methods of air drying and nitrogen conversion in LNG cryogenic tank are discussed with an engineering example, and the result of drying and conversion is analyzed. It is suggested that the cold insulation space at the tank bottom does not need the drying and conversion.
