Clinical effect of Zuo Gui Wan and You Gui Wan on ovarian reserve of early premature ovarian failure patients

Objective To investigate clinical effect of Zuo Gui Wan and You Gui Wan on ovarian reserve of early premature ovarian failure patients. Methods 86 cases of premature ovarian failure were randomly assigned to early treatment group and control group,each had 43 cases. Control group received estrogen and progesterone replacement therapy,treatment group accepted Zuo Gui Wan( after menstruation),You Gui Wan( before menstruation) on the base of control group. 3 months as a course of treatment,clinical efficacy and ovarian reserve were compared between the two groups of patients before and after treatment. Results There were no significant differences on symptom score,sex hormone levels,ovarian size,antral follicle count and ovarian stromal blood flow between two group before treatment. After treatment,the total effective rate in treatment group was 88. 37%,higer than 69. 77% in control group( P 0. 05). Symptom scores in treatment group reduced to( 2. 6 ± 1. 3) points,lower than( 7. 4 ± 3. 5) points in control group( P 0. 05). In two groups,FSH,LH decreased,E2 increased,the number of antral follicles increased,ovarian volume added,PSV increased,PI,RI decreased,and those indexes were all better than those in control group( P 0. 05). The difference of adverse reactions between two groups was not statistically significant. Conclusion Zuo Gui Wan and You Gui Wan can better improve premature ovarian failure in patients with early ovarian reserve compared with alone estrogen and progesterone replacement therapy,it has a significant effect and security,which should be worthy of wider promotion.
