摘要

An analytic study in relation to the action of 30—60 day low-frequency oscillation in the global atmosphere is completed by using ECMWF grid-point data(1980—1988).An important feature is shown,i,e.there are obvious 30—60 day low-frequency teleconnection patterns in the global atmo- sphere.In the Northern Hemisphere,there are mainly Eurasia-Pacific(EAP)and Pacific-North America (PNA)low-frequency teleconnection patterns,and there are mainly Australia-South Africa(ASA) and Round-South America(RSA)patterns in the Southern Hemisphere.Meanwhile,the EAP and PNA low-frequency wave trains in the Northern Hemisphere join and interact with the ASA and RSA low- frequency wave trains in the Southern Hemisphere.
