CLASSIFICATION OF SQUARE TYPE DOMAINS

In this paper, we define the square type domains. Being a class homogeneous bounded domain, they contain three kinds of domains, namely, all symmetric bounded domains defined by E. Caftan, all quasi-symmetric bounded domains defined by Satake, and all examples of nonsymmetric homogeneous bounded domains defined by Pjatetzki-Shapiro. This paper gives partial solution of the classification and realization problems for the square type domains, and the automorphism group of those canonical domains.
