Pollen morphology of Lactucinae subtribe （compositae） in Shandong
摘要
The pollen morphologies of one variety and 18 species belonging to 11 genera of Lactucinae Subtribe in Shandong were examined by light microscopy and scanning electron microscopy.The results showed that the pollens of Lactucinae Subtribe appeared globular and they had 3~5 colporates and reticulate ornamentations on their surface whose brochi ranged within 15~21 in number and on which there was a line of spinules, and thus belong to taraxacum type,which are consistent with the reports about the pollens of other species and genera of Lactucinae Subtribe,the comparison between the pollen morphologies of Lactucinae Subtribe indicated that pollen morphology was not of high significance in genus classification.
