KERNELS OF POISSON TYPE ON LOCAL FIELDS

摘要

The structure of local fields is quite different from that of R~n. Rccently, several mathematicians have paid great attention to the study of this field and obtained many interesting results~([1-5]). In [3] and [4], the authors introduced some approximation kernels so that there are sufficiently many valuable operators of approximation identity on local fields. In this paper, we present the kernels of the Poisson type and study their approximation properties.
