ON BLOCK DECOMPOSITION OF FUNCTIONS

In this paper we respectively investigate the pointwise convergence of singular and con-volution integrals with the method of Block decomposition of functions originated by M. H.Taibleson and G. Weiss. Our principal results are Theorems 1.1 and 2.1. The former is animprovement of recent C. P. Calderon's result on pointwise convergence of singular integrals.The latter is a general result on pointwise convergence of convolution integrals whichinclude classical Calderon-Zygmund's result and recent Carrillo's result.
