A CORRECTION MODEL FOR HYPER-CONCENTRATED FLOW

摘要

A simple correction model is introduced to describe the complicated profiles for suspended sediment concentration in the hyper-concentrated flow. Tile framework is based on tile kinetic theory for dilute solid/liquid tWo-phase flow suggested by Ni Wang (1991). The predicted results from the model agree satisfactorily with the data from Michalik (1973).
