摘要

In this paper, we describe and analyze the challenge of machine learning research, high dimensional data and the curse of dimensionality, the scalability of the machine learning algorithms, the difficulty of optimization, and the bad explicability. And we discuss a few hot topics: deep learning, big data, and probabilistic graphical models, etc.
