摘要

Papuloerythroderma of Ofuji (PEO) is a rare inflammatory dermatosis with characteristic clinical features including numerous itching confluent papules, sparing of major body folds (the deck-chair sign), and peripheral blood eosinophilia in many patients. It may sometimes be associated with an internal malignancy. We report two old male patients with typical skin rashes of PEO which were transiently controlled with oral antihistamines and topical corticosteroids with and without combining UVB phototherapy, respectively. A series of investigations failed to show any evidence of internal malignancy in either patient.
