Ureteral Pseudodiverticulosis:Report of Two Cases
摘要
Ureteral pseudodiverticulosis consists of small outpouchings along the length of the ureter diagnosed primarily by retrograde urography. They are usually multiple, bilateral, and located predominantly in the upper and middle 2/3 of the ureter. Patients may be at risk of developing transitional cell carcimona, and interval follow up is suggested. Cases are associated with painless gross hematuria and urinary tract infection. We report on 2 cases that highlight the clinical characteristics of ureteral pseudodiverticulosis and review the previous literature.
