摘要

The Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) and the No Child Left Behind Act (NCLB) are the two laws that affect mostly on the American public schools in the education law of the U.S. The basic mandate of IDEA is that all children with disabilities must receive a Free Appropriate Public Education. There are six basic requirements that schools must follow with every child who is covered by IDEA. IDEA is a good law, some of whose provisions can provide a model for the education of children with disabilities. The core requirement of NCLB is that each state establishes ”adequate yearly progress” objectives for all students, but it is difficult to performance since lack of conditions to guarantee.
