Embryonal Rhabdomyosarcoma with Skin Invasion Mimicking a Perianal Abscess

摘要

A 9-month-old girl was found to have an erythematous lesion on her buttock after an episode of watery diarrhea. Perianal abscess was suspected initially. The girl was then treated with parenteral antibiotics the response of which, however, was poof. Further histological examination of the lesion revealed that the lesion was due to a rhabdomyosarcoma. We report the case and review the literature.
