Construction and Application of Linkage Maps for azuki bean(Vigna angularis)(アズキ連鎖地図の構築とその応用)

In chapter II, genetic diversity in the subgenus Ceratotropis (genus Vigna) was investigated.RAPD analysis was carried out using 12 cultivars of azuki bean to reveal the intraspecific variation in V.angularis.RAPD and RFLP analyses were performed to elucidate the genetic diversity in the subgenus Ceratotropis.In chapter III, a genetic linkage map of azuki bean with molecular and morphological markers was constructed using interspecific population (V.angularis x V. nakashimae).In chapter IV, QTL analysis for some morphological and reproductive traits was performed using the molecular linkage map constructed in chapter III.In chapter V, another molecular linkage map was constructed using a interspecific population between V. umbel/ata and V. angularis, and the bruchid resistance and several morphological traits were characterized by QTL analysis based on this molecular linkage map.
