Eulerian-Lagrangian Simulation of Gas-Particle Flows
摘要
The Eulerian-Lagrangian approach is widely applied to the simulation of gas-particle flows. Current development on modeling approaches and numerical methods for the carrier fluid turbulence, motion of dispersed particles, and inter-particle collisions of gas-particle flows are reviewed. Two examples of a collision-dominated and a contact-dominated gas-particle flows are studied for demonstration. The particle-laden turbulent channel flows experimentally investigated by Kulick et al. (1994) are solved using LES/deterministic, RANS/deterministic, and RANS/DSMC methods incorporated with hard-sphere model. The spouted fluidized bed experimentally investigated by Tsuji et al. (1993) is solved using DEM method with soft-sphere model. Finally, topics remained to be studied further are addressed.
