Taiwan in the Shadow of a Rising China
摘要
First, I am simply assuming that China’s economy will continue growing at an impressive rate over the next few decades. It is still an open question whether that will happen. Indeed, there are intelligent people who think China will face major economic problems in the future and that it will grow slowly at best. As I will make clear, we should all hope that prediction comes true. But I am assuming it will not and China’s rise will continue.
