Congenital-infantile Fibrosarcoma: A Case Report
摘要
Congenital-infantile fibrosarcoma is a rare tumor with which clinicians should be familiar. Its clinical course differs from conventional fibrosarcoma, the prognosis is usually good and the 5- year survival rate can be more than 80%. With early recognition of this disease entity, aggressive excision such as limb-amputation can be avoided. We report a case of a newborn baby boy with a painless swollen mass in his right thigh. The imaging study of plain film, CT and MRI showed an ill-defined mass with bony destruction. Chemotherapy using oncovin, actinomycin-D and endoxan was performed after the diagnosis, the patient is doing well up to now.
