Myeloid Sarcoma of the Ileum
摘要
Myeloid sarcoma is extremely rare, from lack of associated symptoms or diagnostic modalities sensitive for these lesions. It has been reported in association with acute myeloid leukemia, myeloproliferative disorders, and myelodysplasia in blast transformation, as well as in patients with no known hematological disorders. Gastrointestinal localization has been described in association with epigastric pain, chronic anemia, acute upper gastrointestinal bleeding, perforation, and small bowel obstruction, and any body site can be involved. Single lesion is the most common presentation. Here we reported one case which induced partial ileal obstruction requiring surgical intervention.
