摘要

Small-cell lung cancer has aggressive clinical behavior. It is not uncommon for small-cell lung cancer patients to have pancreatic metastasis. However, metastasis-induced acute pancreatitis is rare. We report on a 65-year-old woman with extensive-stage small-cell lung cancer with pancreatic metastasis initially presenting with acute pancreatitis. Computed tomography showed multiple pancreatic metastatic lesions, and pathology confirmed small cell carcinoma. This rare manifestation has an unfavorable outcome. Palliative chemotherapy may provide survival benefits in selected cases.
