Texas Instrument's TMS320DM365 H.264 video encoder is a flexible implementation of the H.264 video encoder standard. It supports various profiles and features, each of which can be independently selected, set or controlled. This flexibility enables the TMS320DM365 H.264 video encoder to be used in a variety of different applications. This application report lists the different parameters that can be set to control the operation of the TMS320DM365 H.264 video encoder. Recommended values of the parameters for several applications scenarios, video conferencing, video security, video surveillance, video broadcast, video streaming, storage, local playback and digital video recorder (DVR) are provided.
